Does not seem to be a way to make appointments in advance, if so, I couldn't find it. After waiting 75 minutes and watching people arriving after me get called up, my turn comes up. Get to the window and after a brief discussion, she tells me I'll need to talk to another person in the back. Now why can't they be more specific about what you want when you sign in? I had to select "other" as I was filing for SS benefits. Another 25 minute wait and I get called back. This went fairly smoothly, but although I'd filled out a profile for myself online, I had to re-supply part of the information that was already on my record. Surprising was I as asked to provide a marriage license to my wife of 43 years. Aren't 43 years of joint IRS returns enough to establish that I've been married that long? Even more surprising was the agent tried to talk me out of filing the way I wanted to file. We've been to several financial consultants, did some online benefits analysis, done a spreadsheet and a graph, both my wife and I have graduate degrees in mathematics, she is a retired CPA and EA and I was on my company's 401(k) employee advisory team. I think we know what we want and I didn't think the agents were supposed to provide advice, only information. There is also not a lot of privacy there, I could hear another patron give his name, date of birth, current address and social security number. Great place for a identity thief to hang out, huh?

Told me they couldn’t help me with a problem I had with my terminally ill sons social security because there employees were going on vacations and retiring so it’d be a few weeks-months before they would contact me .(they never contacted me back by the way) This place is a joke... and we are now taking the problem to the federal building in Cincinnati .

I asked questions did not understand some things and she slammed the small customer service door in my face. I will never go back there at Towne Blvd. If I had a number to complain about this place I would. The gentleman who was a security guard was the nicest man and looked to people and their problems and tried to direct them to the correct place. If he was in charge there at this place he would get high ratings.

This place has such a wonderful atmosphere and great service. The ladies up front at the widows are such bright spirited individuals and are full of information. They are always willing to help anyone who comes through the doors. I’ve been helped multiple times by them and they are just amazing. The security officer is very dapper and is always willing to help make things move smoothly. He is a great asset to this office. He and the office staff carry themselves with such professionalism. If I was able to give this place more than 5 stars I would.

First time in, I didn't think to bring my birth certificate for what I needed done. Long wait. Second walk-in, service was prompt, polite, and I didn't need the birth certificate.

It would make sense for them to adopt the electronic keypads in lieu of verbally providing one's SSN.
